Role Description This is a part time or full-time, on-site Veterinarian role based in Suisun City, CA. The Veterinarian will diagnose and treat a wide range of medical conditions in animals, perform surgical procedures, if comfortable to do so, conduct routine check-ups and vaccinations, and prescribe medications as needed. Additional responsibilities include communicating with pet owners about preventative care, maintaining detailed medical records, and working collaboratively with the veterinary team to provide exceptional care to patients. The role requires a commitment to animal welfare and a passion for advancing veterinary medicine. Shifts needed are wednesday and thursday 9 am to 6 pm with 1.5 hour break. Saturday and sunday 9 am to 5 pm with 1.5 hr break. Full time compensation is $220,000 and we offer matching 4% 401 k, 50% coverage of kaiser silver plan, PTO, locenses and dues paid to list a few. Owners want consistency, and we are looking to hire for long term. We are in a brand new soace buildout. Qualifications Proficiency in diagnosing and treating various animal health issues, surgwry optional Skills in preventative care, such as administering vaccinations and performing wellness exams Strong communication abilities for client education and team collaboration Experience in maintaining detailed and accurate medical records Commitment to compassionate patient care and staying updated on veterinary best practices D.V.M. or V.M.D. degree from an accredited institution and a valid veterinary license for practice in California Experience in small animal medicine and surgery is preferred Ability to work in a medium- paced environment with excellent problem-solving skills
