This facility requires neurosurgical coverage to maintain continuity of care while the full-time neurosurgeon is on leave. The institution maintains the equipment and support systems necessary to deliver on-site neurosurgical call coverage across inpatient, operating room, and emergency department settings. APP support is available to assist the covering neurosurgeon during assigned call periods.

Primary responsibilities include stabilizing trauma patients and managing treatment for patients admitted with back pain. The clinician will utilize EPIC EMR for documentation throughout all assigned call periods. APP support is available to assist during assigned coverage.
