PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (WAREHOUSE SETTING) | DETAILS AND COMPENSATION:

• Location: Tulsa OK 74146  – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $25/hr
• Required Availability: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 11:00 AM–5:00 PM

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (WAREHOUSE SETTING) | SUMMARY AND HIGHLIGHTS:

The  Pharmacy Technician (Warehouse Setting)  will support pharmacy operations and warehouse activities. This role works under the direct supervision of a Registered Pharmacist and is responsible for assisting with prescription preparation, medication packaging, inventory management, and the packing and distribution of equipment and supplies.

The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a warehouse environment, and able to learn product codes and pharmacy-related terminology quickly.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (WAREHOUSE SETTING) | RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the Registered Pharmacist with filling prescriptions and preparing IV medications.
• Prepackage medications for dispensing in accordance with established standards and government regulations.
• Assist with final prescription preparation for pharmacist review, including labeling, packaging, and coordinating accurate and timely delivery.
• Enter prescription and billing-related information into computer systems as needed.
• Assist with medication and supply receiving, stocking, rotation, and inventory management.
• Record and maintain accurate lot numbers and expiration dates.
• Assist with physical inventory activities and investigate inventory discrepancies.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Check equipment for proper calibration, safety, and cleanliness as directed.
• Pack and prepare equipment and supplies for distribution to patients.
• Load and unload warehouse materials and supplies.
• Stock and organize warehouse inventory.
• Follow pharmacy, warehouse, safety, and regulatory procedures.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

PHARMACY TECHNICIAN (WAREHOUSE SETTING) | REQUIREMENTS :

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (verifiable)
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• Pharmacy Technician certification/license as required by the applicable State Board of Pharmacy.
• Previous experience in pharmacy, warehousing, distribution, or inventory management.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Ability to learn product codes, terminology, and procedures quickly.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to make sound decisions regarding inventory and warehouse activities.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
