Prep Academy Tutors is a private in-home tutoring company. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our students. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to students from kindergarten to grade 12. We hire only the best - certified teachers or those in the process of completing their degree in Education and pay higher wages than the industry average.JOB SUMMARY
Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge of the state curriculum. Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote greater understanding of material. Provide remedial and enrichment support for students. Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress. Provide a customized approach tailored to the individual needs of each student.QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

A qualified applicant will have a bachelor's degree and will also meet at least one of the following criteria: You hold a valid NY State teaching certificate or the equivalent thereof. You are a current student teacher pursuing a teaching certificate. You have 2 or more years of experience as a classroom teacher in a private or charter school. You have experience as a lecturer/course instructor at an accredited U.S. University or College.
