Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Nurse Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 4 10's, Day Shift, with shared on-call rotation Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License required Certifications: Strong GI/Endoscopy skills preferred Must-Have: Experience in nursing assessment and peri-operative education Description: Recruiting for an RN with strong GI/Endoscopy skills. Schedule is 4 - 10's with variable hours and shared on-call rotation. Nursing care duties include floating to the entire Outpatient Services area. Responsibilities include day surgery, endoscopy lab, post anesthesia care unit, and pre-operative clinic. Requires nursing assessment skills, including peri-operative education and care. Must recognize post anesthesia and post-operative complications.
