Pediatric Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist

Shift: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 3 months of Epic experience is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Staffency Program - Children's Wisconsin and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Children's Wisconsin.

• 12 months gap required between for Part-Time at Program: Staffency Program - Children's Wisconsin and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - Children's Wisconsin.

Additional Details:

An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Required Skills/Experience: Must have previous Level 3 NICU and pediatric experience.

Shift & Scheduling:

12 weeks with the possibility of extension. Will accept April or May start dates

Occasionally some day shifts

Weekends: Two weekends a month.

Holidays: As needed

Floating Requirements: Float to Peds, ER, and possibly transports depending on experience.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Proof of identification required

Certifications:

• RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program - 8th Edition)

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
