Director/Senior Director of Construction Miami, FL (Relocation assistance available) ABOUT THE ROLE A rapidly scaling infrastructure platform is seeking an experienced and execution-focused Director/Senior Director of Construction to lead delivery of large-scale hyperscale and AI‑ready data center developments from contract execution through project completion. This individual will oversee prime contractor engagement, active project management, and overall construction execution across a portfolio of mission‑critical infrastructure developments. This role requires deep experience in general contracting, construction operations, and high‑performance project delivery environments. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in managing prime contractor relationships, leading bid processes, and driving projects to completion with a focus on safety, quality, scalability, and speed. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the evaluation, selection, and bid process for prime contractors across active and upcoming construction projects Own commercial and legal negotiations under AIA agreements in partnership with legal and finance teams Conduct technical interviews and evaluations of contractors, vendors, and project partners Serve as the primary point of contact for prime contractors throughout the full construction lifecycle Oversee on‑site project execution across multiple concurrent mission‑critical developments, ensuring schedule, budget, and safety targets are achieved Direct internal and external project management teams while coordinating across engineering, operations, contractors, consultants, and vendors Manage end‑to‑end change order workflows and ensure alignment across stakeholders Monitor construction progress, resolve project risks, and provide executive‑level reporting on milestones, schedule, and budget performance Support the transition from preconstruction into active field execution with strong operational alignment and documentation control Drive accountability and operational excellence across all active projects ABOUT YOU 10+ years of construction management or general contracting experience within large‑scale data center, industrial, or mission‑critical infrastructure environments Strong experience overseeing prime contractor relationships and full construction lifecycles Deep understanding of AIA contracts, bid management, procurement, and change order processes Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent builds with strong delivery consistency Familiarity with mission‑critical electrical, mechanical, and structural systems Strong leadership, negotiation, communication, and field management capabilities Detail‑oriented with a proactive approach toward schedule, cost, quality, and execution management Experience with construction management platforms such as Procore, Primavera P6, or MS Project #J-18808-Ljbffr Ecotal
