Job Summary


Our client is seeking a Pharmacist to provide various on-site services at a healthcare facility. The role involves maintaining medication stock, reviewing patient medication regimens, and supporting medication management systems.


Key Responsibilities

• Order and stock drugs with the wholesaler and fill automated dispensing units.
• Conduct on-site reviews of patient medication regimens and provide consultation on medication disposal.
• Assist with the management of automated dispensing units and review relevant reports.
• Stock and remove outdated medications and assist in ordering additional medications as needed.
• Review crash carts and report medication discrepancies to designated personnel.
• Develop policies related to medication management and assist with surveys and committee participation.

Qualifications

• 1 Year of Pharmacist Experience
• Preferred experience in a surgery center

Location: Onsite in the ambulatory surgery center in Lexington, KY


Hours: Two 8 hour shifts (part time) ideally on Tuesday/Thursday but open to discussion
