Senior Property Technician

Job Description Job Description Job Summary · Perform a variety of routine and emergency repairs and preventative maintenance to commercial buildings, equipment, furnishings, fixtures, and grounds, keeping all areas in proper condition as directed · HVAC: Have knowledge of HVAC mechanicals. Able to perform or assist in basic quarterly services and troubleshoot problems in CPM systems; · Electrical: Remove and replace overhead lightbulbs, ballast, duplex outlets and switches. · Plumbing Service of plumbing fixtures, faucets, toilets and drains · Basic skills in general repairs, construction and problem solving/troubleshooting · Provide general assistance to skilled tradesmen such as mechanics, electricians, carpenters, plumbers, painters, etc., as directed · Adheres to, complies with, and demonstrates support for the company’s mission to provide high level service to its properties and clients. · Project Manage commercial renovation and capital repairs as needed, including pricing, scheduling and monitoring the project/assignment. · Work with back-office facilities team and accounting on all billing and reporting of work orders and projects. Minimum Qualifications · High School graduation or GED required. Technical / Secondary Education preferred. ** · Minimum Three (3) years general labor experience or Commercial Building experience, with concentration in HVAC and/or Electrical. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities · Leadership and Management: You will be part of a team of which leadership and management of junior personnel could be required and effective in job duties · Basic use of power and hand tools. · Ability to prioritize tasks and act accordingly. Time management is important. · Good communication skills and a good working relationship with tenants and team members. · Represent company in a cordial and respectful manner. Uniform shirts provided as part of professional maintenance outfit. · Working knowledge of technology and working mobile devices, i.e. tablet, labtop · Ability to climb ladders and lift material Certificates, Licenses and Registration · Valid Driver's License. Employer will conduct MVR. Company will provide a vehicle for use during employment. · HVAC or Electrical certified training is Preferred** · Successful completion of criminal background check required. Work Hours · Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM ET – 5:00 PM ET. Goal is to get a minimum of 36 hours of paid time per week. Overtime requirement or weekend work based on emergency basis only or if travel is required to out of town project site (scheduled). · Estimated start date of employment is between June 1, 2026 and July 1, 2026, contingent on all background and payroll information is completed and on file with Company and policy and procedures manual has been reviewed and signed.
