Labor and Delivery Nurse Thousand Oaks, California. This vital role involves providing comprehensive nursing care for obstetric patients in a 9-bed Labor and Delivery unit within a Level II trauma center. The position requires skills in vaginal exams, circulating during Cesarean sections, and managing high-risk antepartum and postpartum patients.

Job Details

• Position: Labor and Delivery Nurse
• Location: Thousand Oaks, California
• Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications; California license; experience in fetal monitoring, Cesarean section circulation, and post-Cesarean recovery; 2 years of relevant obstetric experience; associate or higher degree in nursing; valid California license.
• Additional Information: Must be skilled in vaginal exams and circulating during Cesarean sections. Candidates must be adaptable, positive, and able to collaborate effectively with team members. The unit handles labor, vaginal delivery, Cesarean sections, high-risk antepartum care, and neonatal care within the first hour of life.
• Preferred Qualifications: Scrub experience, NCC certification in Ip-Ob or EFM.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP
• Schedule details: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
