Location: Brooklyn, NY 11234
Start Date: 06/22/2026
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: 58-Hour Days (8:00 AM 4:00 PM)
Hours: 37.540 Hours per Week
Guaranteed Hours: Dependent on facility requirements
Job Summary: Seeking an experienced X-Ray Technician for a 13-week assignment in Brooklyn, NY. The candidate will be responsible for operating radiologic imaging equipment, preparing patients for procedures, and ensuring patient safety and quality imaging.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and position patients for radiologic procedures
- Operate radiologic imaging equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain quality radiographs and accurate patient records
- Follow radiation safety and infection control procedures
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and maintain supply inventory
- Work collaboratively with the healthcare team
- Complete all required documentation and compliance standards
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of X-Ray experience required
- New York State Licensed Radiologic Technologist required
- ARRT Certification required
- Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of radiation safety and diagnostic imaging procedures
