Job Overview We are looking for a highly motivated, multi-skilled Trades Carpenter to provide quality craftsmanship and customer service across DuPage County. You will work as an independent professional, using your own truck or van to travel to job sites, while we handle finding and scheduling work. The role is flexible, with options for full‑time or part‑time schedules. Compensation & Benefits Hourly rate: $30.00‑$35.00. Manage job estimates, complete work safely and professionally, document job details accurately, and maintain a positive customer‑service attitude. Conduct yourself professionally, communicating effectively with clients, teammates, and management. Qualifications Strong work ethic and professional appearance Knowledge of multiple trades: carpentry, tiling, painting, drywall, light plumbing, electrical Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem‑solving skills Full documentation and invoicing capability Background check and drug screen approval Specific Technical Requirements Successful prior track record as a trades person; estimation skills and home inspection experience strongly preferred Ability to perform minor electrical and plumbing work Own standard set of tools for all listed trades Own truck or van Current, valid driver’s license Residence within 15 miles of DuPage County #J-18808-Ljbffr Ace Handyman Services
