Part-Time DishwasherAre you bored at your current job? We are a fast paced, high energy, private club and are seeking a Part-Time Dishwasher. This role requires the utmost professionalism, timeliness, and the ability to multitask. This is a very interactive position and communication is very important while managing the dishwashing area and providing support to the Back of the House employees as needed following all sanitary and health related protocols.You must be willing to work a flexible schedule including Days, Nights, Weekends, and Holidays.Essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned:Operate the industrial dishwasher.Wash glassware, pots and pans, and other implements by hand when necessary.Handle linens, baskets and trash cans to be changed over.Empty and clean all trash receptacles.Clean iced tea, coffee and milkshake machines daily.Rotate dishes to reduce wear and tear on resources.Clean dish storage, sinks, prep tables and buss tubs.Follow sanitation policies at all times.Provide assistance to prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times.Provide assistance to servers by bussing tables as needed.Assist bartenders with cleaning of the bar area as needed.Perform opening, closing and side work.Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately.Report any sanitation or janitorial issues to appropriate party.Maintain cleanliness of the dry storage room, kitchen, cooler and freezer.Success DriversMember/Customer ExperienceProvide first class service to our members, customers, and visitors; Manages difficult or emotional customer situations;Ensure items are stocked and priced accurately;Be knowledgeable of our membership programs to answer any questions in a positive manner.TeamworkBalances team and individual responsibilities;Contributes to building a positive team spirit;Supports everyone's efforts to succeed.Safety and SecurityObserves all safety and security procedures;Reports potentially unsafe conditions;Uses equipment and materials properly.Organizational SupportFollows policies and procedures;Completes administrative tasks correctly and on time;Supports organization's goals and values;Promotes a harassment-free environment.Attendance/PunctualityIs consistently at work and on time; Ensures work responsibilities are covered when absent; Arrives at meetings and appointments on time.QualificationsExperienceMinimum of two years of experience in restaurant setting.EducationHigh School graduate/Equivalent.Physical RequirementsWhile performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; talk or hear and taste or smell. The employee is frequently required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 70 pounds. Vision- must be able to see with or without corrective lenses. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions; extreme cold; extreme heat and risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud.AvailabilityAbility to work an open schedule, including evenings, holidays and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of GGC. Regular attendance is an essential function of the job.
