Position Summary This is a yard switching position moving 48ft tractor trailers and 28ft straight trucks throughout the yard and to docks using a yard horse. Overtime hours, working weekends and holidays, and starting at various start times are required in order to successfully meet the business needs. Compensation and Benefits CDL A: $31.50/hr (1 year experience as a Yard Jockey or Switcher with CDL A required) $7,000 sign‑on bonus Medical, Dental, Vision, Retirement Plan, Life Insurance Time off package including Vacation, Sick, Holidays No touch freight or heavy lifting Shift 1am‑9am Every Saturday and Sunday Required Two days off in the middle of the week Location Bartlett Distribution Services, Newark Position Requirements 21+ years of age Valid Class A Commercial Driver License with clean MVR Minimum 1 year experience working as a Yard Jockey or Switcher with CDL A Valid non‑expired interstate Medical Examiner's Certificate Card Pass pre‑employment testing (Drug Screen, Background Check, Employment Verification) Must be able to pass a Clearing House Query Ability to work in all weather conditions Experience using a yard horse preferred but not required Availability to work overtime hours and holidays EEO Statement We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
