Job Description As a Security Officer Access Control Driver in Beatrice, NE , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a manufacturing and industrial location. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge access procedures, monitor activity, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Conduct routine patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents while supporting a secure environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeMon08:00 AM - 04:00 PMTue08:00 AM - 04:00 PMWed08:00 AM - 04:00 PMThur08:00 AM - 04:00 PMFri08:00 AM - 04:00 PM What You’ll Do: Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and drivers while carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorization, manage visitor and contractor sign-in processes, and maintain accurate access-related records. Control access to manufacturing and industrial areas, shipping and receiving locations, and other restricted spaces in accordance with site requirements. Respond to incidents, alarms, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established procedures. Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Customer service experience is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
