We are looking for Full Time Correction Officers to join Robertson County Sheriff's Office.

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Springfield, TN

Qualifications

• Applicants must have reached their 18th birthday before the application can be accepted.
• Applicants must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license.
• Applicants must be a citizen of the United States.
• Applicants must have an Honorable Discharge from the Armed Forces (if prior military)
• Applicants must be able to pass an extensive pre-employment background investigation.
• Applicants must pass a psychological examination, polygraph examination, written examination, and a physical examination (including drug screen).
• Applicants must be of good moral character. If at any time during the selection process it is found that the applicant has been untruthful or purposely withheld requested information, the applicant will no longer be considered for employment and will not be allowed to reapply with the department in the future.
• Applicants who become employed as a full time Correction Officer with this agency are required to meet the minimum standards as set forth by the Tennessee Correction Institute.

Applicants must be available to work weekends and holidays.

Applicants must be available for working any of the three shifts:

6:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M.

2:00P.M. - 10:00 P.M.

10:00 P.M. - 6:00 A.M.
