Contract | Nights | 3 x 12-hour shifts | Expected 36 hours/week | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide high-quality, compassionate patient care utilizing the nursing process and unit-specific standards of practice
• Develop, implement, and continually reassess individualized patient plans of care, including physical, psychological, social, and rehabilitative needs
• Administer medications and complete nursing procedures and/or treatments while accurately documenting care, assessments, interventions, and patient responses
• Perform holistic, ongoing patient assessments and evaluate discharge plans for appropriateness, educational needs, and necessary changes
• Educate patients, families, and significant others on relevant health information in a timely manner
• Communicate and collaborate with all members of the healthcare team; may float in rotation, including as a sitter

Required Qualifications

• Active Washington State RN license or Compact RN license required
• Active BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required
• Must consistently function within the guidelines of the Washington Nurse Practice Act and unit-specific standards of practice
• Must adhere to applicable facility policies and unit standards
• Must maintain current knowledge of workflows, processes, and evidence-based procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Experience delegating to and overseeing non-licensed assistive personnel
• Familiarity with performance evaluation and quality improvement processes
