Job Description\n American Traveler is seeking a travel Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in Seattle, Washington.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist\n Discipline: Allied Health Professional\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 40 hours per week\n Shift: 10 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n Assignment Overview\n \n Shift: Days, 4x10hrs\n Hours: 40 hrs/wk\n Start Date: Oct 19, 2026\n Length: 13 weeks\n Openings: 1\n Description\n American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist with neurovascular/stroke team experience and ARRT-R certification for a 13-week day shift assignment.Details\n \n Interventional Radiology unit with a 50/50 split of inpatient and outpatient patients\n Patient diagnoses include biopsies, GI, GU/Renal, peripheral vascular, pulmonary, CT, and endovascular lab cases\n Procedures include Y-90 chemoembolization, GI bleed interventions, TPA administration, vein sampling, phase 2 recovery, and cryoablations\n 4x10 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM\n Call requirement of 2 full weekends in a 6-week period plus 9 weeknights\n Floating required to a second campus for regular shifts and call coverage\n Uses Pyxis medication system and Epic for documentation\n Requirements\n \n Minimum of 1 year of Interventional Radiology experience preferred\n BLS and ARRT-R certifications required\n WA state license required if applicable\n Experience with stroke teams and/or strong neurovascular experience required\n Epic EMR experience required\n Skilled in procedures such as angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, vascular closure systems, and central venous access\n Experience with fluoroscopy equipment (Philips, Siemens) and PACS\n 2 professional references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years\n Additional Information\n \n Responsibilities include procedural support such as equipment setup, sterile field maintenance, room circulating, and accurate patient monitoring\n Perform a wide range of vascular, genitourinary, and neurological interventional procedures\n First-time travelers accepted\n Previous Providence employees must be separated from the health system for at least 3 months to qualify for a travel assignment\n Candidates must disclose any prior work history at a Providence facility as permanent staff, traveler, or per-diem\n Local candidates accepted within a 50-mile radius at a lower bill rate\n Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)\n All time-off requests must be submitted upfront during the application process\n \n \n American Traveler Job ID #P-758780.
