Nurse Practitioner (NP) - 1-Day Assignment

Tandym Group

An occupational health organization is seeking a Nurse Practitioner in Lubbock, TX to support a high-volume screening event. This role focuses on conducting Human Performance Exams, performing medical clearance evaluations, and documenting fit-for-duty findings in a fast-paced clinical setting.

About the Opportunity:

Shift: Day shift
Schedule: Tuesday, June 23rd
Hours: 7am to 6:30pm
Setting: Onsite

Responsibilities:

Perform Human Performance Exams, including functional movement, musculoskeletal stability, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling assessments
Review range of motion, strength, endurance, and any medical limitations affecting job performance
Provide medical clearance determinations based on physical demand requirements and clinical findings
Conduct focused physical exams and health screenings, including vitals, medical history review, and general assessment
Document evaluations accurately and collaborate with onsite clinical and operational teams to support workflow efficiency

Qualifications:

Active Nurse Practitioner license
Experience in occupational health, urgent care, employee health, or pre-employment screenings
Ability to make clinical clearance decisions and assess functional capacity for job-specific tasks
Strong clinical judgment, documentation, and decision-making skills

Desired Skills:

Experience working in a high-volume screening setting
Familiarity with fit-for-duty evaluations and occupational health guidelines
Comfort working in a fast-paced event environment
