Title: SR PRINCIPAL SAP PS & CPM ANALYST Location: fully remote with up to 20% travel required (Multiple states) expenses covered Duration: 6+ Months Contract Interview Mode: Video Job Description: Principal SAP PS & CPM Analyst (Principal SAP Project Systems and Commercial Project Management Analyst) Job Summary The Principal SAP PS & CPM Analyst will serve as the onsite functional and solution lead for SAP Project System (PS) and Commercial Project Management (CPM). This role will partner closely with business, Finance, IT, and cross-functional teams to define requirements, design scalable SAP solutions, lead strategic enhancements, and drive continuous process improvement. The analyst will provide functional leadership across the end-to-end project lifecycle, including project planning, budgeting, procurement, cost and revenue forecasting, ETC/EAC forecasting, Change Requests, Results Analysis, settlement, and reporting. Key Responsibilities Solution & Business Process Leadership • Serve as the onsite SAP PS/CPM subject matter expert and functional solution lead. Lead business workshops, requirements gathering, process mapping, and future-state solution design. Translate complex business requirements into scalable SAP S/4HANA solutions. Drive process standardization, automation, simplification, and continuous improvement. Provide strategic recommendations and solution options for business and IT leadership. Functional Design & Integration • Lead SAP PS/CPM solution design and configuration across project structures, WBS elements, networks, milestones, planning, budgeting, availability control, Results Analysis, settlement, ETC/EAC, revenue forecasting, and Change Requests. Define functional requirements and RICEFW specifications for reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, workflows, and forms. Lead cross-functional integration across FI/CO, Ariba, MM, SD, procurement, inventory, billing, service, and financial processes. Collaborate with ABAP, Fiori, BTP, integration, security, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Project Delivery & Governance • Lead functional delivery from requirements and solution design through configuration, testing, UAT, cutover, and go-live. Coordinate onsite and offshore teams to ensure solutions are implemented in accordance with approved functional designs. Manage solution decisions, dependencies, risks, and cross-functional alignment. Establish and maintain SAP PS/CPM standards, documentation, governance, and best practices. Mentor functional consultants and provide solution guidance to delivery teams. Strategic Roadmap & Stakeholder Management • Partner with business leaders to identify, evaluate, and prioritize strategic SAP enhancements. Develop and maintain the SAP PS/CPM roadmap aligned with business and technology objectives. Evaluate new S/4HANA, automation, analytics, and SAP capabilities for business applicability. Communicate solution options, business benefits, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs to business and IT stakeholders. Required Skills & Experience • 15+ years of SAP functional experience with deep expertise in SAP Project System (PS). 5+ years of hands-on SAP CPM experience, including ETC, EAC, revenue forecasting, and Change Request processes. Strong knowledge of WBS structures, networks, project planning, budgeting, Results Analysis, settlement, project accounting, and reporting. Strong integration knowledge across FI/CO, MM, SD, Ariba, procurement, inventory, service, and project billing. Demonstrated experience leading SAP S/4HANA solution design, implementations, and major enhancement initiatives. Strong capabilities in business process analysis, solution architecture, stakeholder management, and workshop facilitation. Proven experience leading and coordinating onsite/offshore SAP delivery teams. Excellent communication, presentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Education & Certifications • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, Business, or a related field. SAP PS and/or SAP Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM) certification is preferred. InterSources
