Job Title: Pool Snack Bar Attendant
Department: Food & Beverage
Reports To: Pool Snack Bar Manager

Position Summary

The Pool Snack Bar Attendant provides exceptional service to country club members and guests by preparing and serving food and beverages in a friendly, efficient, and professional manner. This position helps maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming snack bar environment while ensuring food safety standards and club service expectations are consistently met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests in a courteous and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately and process transactions through the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Prepare and serve menu items, including snacks, sandwiches, salads, beverages, and other poolside offerings.
• Ensure food is prepared and presented according to club standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the snack bar, service counters, dining areas, and storage areas.
• Restock food, beverages, paper products, condiments, and supplies throughout each shift.
• Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock items.
• Follow all food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash handling and reconciliation as assigned.
• Maintain cleanliness of pool dining areas, tables, chairs, and surrounding guest areas.
• Respond promptly and professionally to member requests and concerns.
• Support special events, pool parties, and member functions as needed.
• Work cooperatively with kitchen staff, pool attendants, lifeguards, and other club employees.

Qualifications

• Previous food service, concession, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic math and cash-handling abilities.
• Ability to operate a POS system or willingness to learn.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Dependable, professional, and team-oriented.
• Food Handler Certification preferred, if required by local regulations.
• Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and flexible seasonal schedules.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
• Ability to work in a warm outdoor environment near the pool area.
• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, and perform light cleaning duties.
