Role Overview We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Construction Floor Lead Superintendent in Clayton/Cary, NC, who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running like they should. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree At least 8 years of construction site experience 8 years of experience as a general foreman, superintendent, and/or construction manager Demonstrated working knowledge of pre‑design and pre‑construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building Lead or participate in weekly safety observations and audits per the project HSE program and daily monitor site activities for program conformance, quality construction, damages, cleanliness, and productivity Participate in construction sequencing coordination planning, management, and execution as required for the project through completion of construction Monitor productivity and progress against the project schedule ensuring the contract plans are executed to make the progress required to meet the schedule Coordinate, review, and oversee schedule updates provided by the assigned contractors evaluating weekly look‑ahead schedules and manpower plans and lead recovery plans as required Manage and monitor craft staffing levels for assigned contracts, compare to contractor’s manpower forecasts Lead or participate in weekly safety walks with trade partners and the owner Preferred Qualifications Basic knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems, architectural systems, clean room knowledge a plus, and general building construction & maintenance Knowledge and experience with implementation of LEAN strategies and technologies in project execution, including Last Planner System (LPS), 5S Construction and off‑site manufacturing (OSM) construction Basic knowledge in construction project sequencing and ability to utilize 3D technologies such as BIM360, REVIT or other Benefits Our health and welfare benefits are designed to invest in you, and in the things you care about. Compensation The base salary range for this position is $92,000.00 to $155,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
