What you'll do:
- Evaluate and manage respiratory conditions: Assess and monitor patients with respiratory conditions, providing accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
- Administer critical therapies: Deliver treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and mechanical ventilation to improve patient outcomes and comfort.
- Adjust and monitor treatment plans: Track patient progress, make necessary adjustments, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care.
- Educate and empower: Guide patients and families on managing respiratory conditions, offer preventive care advice, and provide resources for ongoing health and wellness.
- Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to deliver holistic and coordinated care.
Who we're looking for:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Licensing: Active Respiratory Therapist (RT) license in Georgia (or ability to obtain).
- Experience: Previous clinical or hospital experience is preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
- Certifications: Specialized certifications (e.g., pediatric/neonatal care, pulmonary function) are a plus.
