About the Role

The Company is in search of an Associate Vice President of Development with a focus on hospitality. The successful candidate will be a key player in the planning, execution, and delivery of complex development projects within a luxury residential, hospitality, and mixed-use portfolio. This role demands a driven and detail-oriented individual with a real estate development background, ideally complemented by experience in architecture, construction, or business. Core responsibilities include building project budgets and cash flows, day-to-day project management, and external and internal reporting. The AVP will also be responsible for meetings with internal teams, consultants, and external stakeholders, and must have a proven ability to project manage at a high level, coordinating multiple projects, consultants, and deadlines simultaneously. Applicants for the AVP of Development position at the company should have 5-9 years' of experience in real estate development, with a strong focus on financial management and proficiency in Excel. The role requires hands-on experience in building project budgets, proformas, and cash flow projections, as well as a deep understanding of the full project lifecycle from due diligence to closeout. Familiarity with South Florida municipal approval and entitlement processes is preferred. The ideal candidate will be adept at design and construction coordination and will be a master at stakeholder communication.
