The Bookkeeper/Accountant is responsible for managing the company's accounts receivable processes, maintaining accurate financial records, supporting month-end close activities, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). This role plays a critical part in maintaining financial accuracy, cash flow management, and supporting the overall financial operations of the organization. This position is ‘in office’ in Sunnyvale, CA (M-F) Salary Range: $105,000 - $126,000 annual### ****Accounts Receivable Management***** **Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and timely.*** **Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.*** **Process customer payments, credit memos, and account adjustments.*** **Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and customer inquiries.*** **Maintain detailed records of collection activities and payment histories.**### ****Bookkeeping & Financial Administration***** **Prepare and enter financial transactions into QuickBooks.*** **Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.*** **Process journal entries and account adjustments as necessary.*** **Assist with accounts payable activities when required.*** **Maintain organized financial records in accordance with company policies.**### ****Reconciliations & Financial Reporting***** **Perform monthly bank reconciliations and account reconciliations.*** **Reconcile customer accounts and investigate discrepancies.*** **Prepare recurring financial reports and supporting schedules.*** **Assist with cash flow reporting and financial analysis.*** **Support management with ad hoc reporting requests.**### ****Month-End Close & Compliance***** **Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.*** **Assist in preparation of financial statements and management reports.*** **Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies.*** **Support internal and external audits as required.*** **Maintain compliance with regulatory reporting requirements and tax documentation.**### ****Process Improvement***** **Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows and efficiencies.*** **Recommend process improvements to strengthen internal controls.*** **Support implementation of accounting and financial system enhancements.**## ****What Is Required***** **Must be eligible for employment within the United States.*** **Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
