Pay: $28–$40/hour (based FT, PT, PRN and experience)

We are actively hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our rehab department at Dawn Hill Home in Bristol, RI. This is a great opportunity for a COTA who enjoys working in a skilled nursing environment and wants a supportive, team-based culture with consistent patient care...

• Provide OT treatment under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist

• Implement individualized treatment plans to support resident function and independence

• Document care accurately and in a timely manner

• Collaborate with nursing and rehab teams to ensure continuity of care

• Educate residents and staff on exercises, positioning, transfers, and adaptive equipment

• Support safe mobility, ADLs, and discharge planning recommendations

• Maintain treatment areas and ensure safe therapy environments

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

• Active Rhode Island COTA license

• Long-term care or geriatrics experience preferred (not required)

• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset

• Passion for functional, resident-centered care
