Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer Schedule: Days, but may vary subject to customers’ demands and requirements. Pay Rate: $28-$32+/hr DOE. Location: Phoenix, AZ. Travel: 80% domestic or occasional international travel. Position Type: Full Time. Benefits: Eligible for WGNSTAR’s full benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Principal Duties and Responsibilities Performs on-site service and repair of semiconductor processing equipment Troubleshoots equipment problems Utilizes electromechanical skills to provide excellent service to customers Demonstrates ability to understand detailed electrical schematics and mechanical drawings Comprehends test equipment including various test meters, hand and power tools Able to read engineering drawings and electrical diagrams Requirements Electronic and mechanical troubleshooting skills Maintenance Technician skills with solid experience in resolving tool-related challenges Previous semiconductor experience preferred AS/BS degree or equivalent military training 60–80% domestic or occasional international travel and/or occasional overnight travel to factory, training facilities, and customer locations may be required Valid Driver's License required Physical Effort and Activities May be required to walk up to 5+ miles per day, be on feet for 8‑10 hours at a time, ability to bend, twist, push/pull, crouch, kneel in confined spaces, work at heights on a ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds.
