Asst Prof/Clinical - Medical Oncology

Position Summary Asst Prof/Clinical - Medical Oncology, 2026-1225 at UConn Health Center. The role is full‑time and involves clinical care, teaching, and outreach as well as opportunities to develop a research program. Responsibilities • Treat cancer patients in the outpatient clinic and provide inpatient service with other clinical faculty.

• Identify areas of opportunity and expand clinical and community outreach programs of the Cancer Center.
• Mentor hematology oncology fellows, assess and evaluate each fellow’s competencies.
• Attend tumor boards and be available to teach medical students and residents.
• Participate in research activities and build a research program if desired.

Qualifications • Board‑certified or board‑eligible physician in medical oncology.

• Demonstrated expertise in neuroendocrine tumors, sarcoma, and genitourinary cancers, or a strong interest in developing such expertise.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team that includes surgical oncology, radiation oncology, and other specialties.
