Job Opening at Walmart
We have three openings available at Walmart. All positions require the same skillset: React, Node, GraphQL. This is a contract to hire rolling contract, so we can only consider people that can convert with no sponsorship now or in the future. The rate to the candidate is $70/hr, with some flexibility depending on the resume.
Sits hybrid twice a week in Sunnyvale, CA. We can take relocates, will be remote to start but at the time of conversion, needs to move.
We will not consider people that will not relocate. Walmart has a tenure policy so need a 6 month break between contracts.
Must Haves:
- Senior/Staff Level REACT NODE OR NEST OR NEXT
- GRaphQL Longetivity in Roles FAANG MANGO MAGNIFICENT 7, Other Technology companies Preferred

Will be responsible for implementing pixel perfect designs that balance challenging customer needs with application performance.

Responsibilities:
- Implementing interactive elements, animations, and transitions to enhance user engagement and create a smooth and enjoyable user experience.
- Handling user interactions and input validation to ensure data integrity.
- Working with popular frontend frameworks and libraries to build dynamic and interactive web applications.
- Understanding and utilizing the features and capabilities of these frameworks effectively.
- Ensuring that the web application is compatible and works well across different web browsers and devices.
- Conducting testing and debugging activities to identify and fix frontend issues, such as layout problems, JavaScript errors, or compatibility issues.
Requirements:
- Qualified Full Stack Engineer with strong emphasis on Front End Experience with proven experience with React JS, Node.js and JavaScript
- Experience in HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, AJAX, Responsive Design, and general Web 2.0 techniques in the context of interactive Web Applications
- Experience with XML and XSLT technology
- Experience with building fast and efficient web applications with pixel perfect design
- Experience with deployment technologies like Capistrano or equivalent
- Experience with Source Code Management Tools (GitHUB)
- Experience with frontend performance optimization tools like Pagespeed etc.
- Experience in creating and/or consuming RESTful web services.
- Excellent communication skills: Demonstrated ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Expertise with unit testing & Test-Driven Development (TDD)
