Youth Soccer Coach – Ages 2–8 Soccer Shots Oahu
$21–$27/hour | Part-Time

Soccer Shots Oahu is looking for energetic, dependable people who genuinely enjoy working with young children.

We introduce soccer to children ages 2–8 at preschools and park programs across Oahu. Our coaches help kids build confidence, learn character skills, and have fun through age-appropriate soccer sessions.

What You'll Do

• Lead fun, high-energy soccer sessions for children ages 2–8

• Follow the Soccer Shots curriculum

• Teach age-appropriate soccer skills and games

• Create a safe, encouraging environment

• Communicate professionally with parents, schools, and teammates

• Arrive prepared and on time

• Set up and pack up coaching equipment

Schedule

Most weekday sessions take place at preschools, with weekend sessions at select park locations.

We are currently prioritizing candidates available for multiple sessions throughout the week , especially afternoons. Most afternoon sessions require arrival around 2:45 PM .

Ideal availability includes:

• At least 3 weekday mornings and/or afternoons
  
  
• Saturday and/or Sunday mornings, approximately 9:00 AM–12:00 PM
  
  
• Consistent availability throughout the year

Because children benefit from seeing the same coach each week, we are looking for people interested in a consistent, long-term part-time role.

Employment is subject to applicable childcare and preschool clearance requirements.

Preferred Experience

Previous soccer experience is helpful, but you do not need to be an expert soccer player or coach .

Experience working with children, coaching, teaching, childcare, camps, recreation programs, or after-school programs is a plus.

CPR/First Aid certification is also helpful or may be obtained if needed.

We care more about finding someone who is dependable, coachable, energetic, and great with kids than someone with extensive soccer experience.
