Are you living your life's work?Registered Dietician - Per DiemGeneral Summary StatementUnder the direction of Clinical Nutrition Manager assures that patient care standards are met and patient satisfaction is maintained. The RD, LDN serves as a liaison between the medical staff, nursing staff, ancillary health departments and the community. Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for nutrition screening of patients based on established criteria for adult, NICU and pediatric populationsCompletes nutrition consults in timely mannerReassesses patient based on complexity of care level standardsPrioritizes workload to complete in an efficient and effective mannerProvides nutrition education to patients and family members by consult, protocol, or as deemed appropriateDevelops nutrition care plan to fit patient needs and documents nutrition assessment in electronic medical recordCompletes nutrition assessment for patients on enteral and parenteral nutrition supportDetermines need for oral nutrition supplement and orders and/or implements based on individual patient needs.Collaborates with interdisciplinary team to address patient needsEducation Training and Experience: Bachelor's degree in nutrition and DieteticsMinimum of 1-year experience in an acute care setting preferred.Licensure/Certification Registered with the Commission on Dietetics Registration (RD) Active nutrition license (LDN) with the Commonwealth of PennsylvaniaWe believe that the best care for our patients starts with the best care for our employees.
