Working independently, the Nursing Unit Secretary utilizes Electronic Health Records (EHR) software to ensure accurate and timely information flow within the unit. Responsibilities Manage patient registration and appointment scheduling Coordinate communication between patients, staff, and medical personnel Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using Electronic Health Records Handle incoming phone calls professionally and promptly Support multiple nursing units with administrative tasks Facilitate smooth patient flow and service delivery Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems Excellent telephone etiquette Strong multitasking abilities Effective communication skills Organizational skills to manage diverse tasks Ability to work well in a team environment
