What will you do? Create weekly menus from personal or established recipes Supervise food prep work whilemaintainingfood quality, plate presentation, and sanitation standards Verify that allportionsizes, recipes, quality standards, department rules, policies, and procedures are maintained Supervise all culinary team members and food production in their area Partner with service personnel and restaurant managers to ensure guest satisfaction Maintain all kitchen equipment in full working order;maintain thecleanliness and organization of walk-ins and freezersat all times Actively work to maintain food cost within parameters set by the Chef and leadership Effectively supervise proper breakdown, rotation, labeling, dating, and storage of food; use waste control guidelines and record all waste on a spoilage sheet More about you High school education is desired; participationorenrollmentinaculinary program preferred Minimum of 6 months ofexperience in back-of-the-house foodservice position preferred Familiarity and experience with knife handling preferred Physical requirements Ability tolift upto 50pounds Standing and walking for the entire length of the shift Shift details Days Evenings On call Overnight Holidays Weekends OT as needed Events #J-18808-Ljbffr
