Winding Willow Acupuncture & Wellness | SE Portland, Oregon

Winding Willow Acupuncture & Wellness is seeking a licensed acupuncturist to join our established, community-focused clinic in SE Portland. We value thoughtful, individualized care, collaboration, and making healthcare welcoming and accessible.

We're looking for a clinician who is confident in their practice, communicates clearly, maintains excellent records, and wants to contribute to a well-run clinic environment.

Position details

• Location: 1540 Southeast Clinton St, Portland, OR 97202. A wonderful location located close to People’s Co-Op and New Seasons and within walking distance to public transit.
• Independent contractor opportunity
• Part-time opportunity, approximately 2–3 days per week
• Current scheduling needs: include Tuesday 830am -6pm, Fri 130pm-6pm and Sat 830am-6pm.
• Compensation: Percentage-based compensation under a written independent-contractor agreement, with facility-use arrangements based on the assigned treatment room and reserved days. Full details will be discussed before an agreement is finalized.
• Start date: As soon as possible for the right candidate.
• Credentialing preference: Applicants who are already credentialed with insurance plans accepted at Winding Willow are strongly preferred. Existing credentialing may shorten the onboarding process, although payer approval for the Winding Willow location may still be required.

What you'll do

• Provide safe, evidence-informed acupuncture care tailored to patient needs and treatment goals.
• Maintain complete, timely SOAP notes and accurate records in our Charm electronic health record.
• Maintain a clean, organized treatment space and follow applicable infection-control and safety procedures.
• Communicate professionally with patients and colleagues.
• Coordinate with front-desk staff regarding scheduling, documentation, and patient follow-up as applicable to your role.
• Contribute to a respectful, collaborative environment that supports continuity of care.
• Participate in agreed-upon clinic activities that support patient care and the smooth operation of the practice.

What we're looking for

• Current Oregon acupuncture license and all qualifications required to practice.
• Professional liability insurance.
• Strong clinical documentation and electronic health record skills.
• Dependability, sound clinical judgment, attention to detail, and professional communication.
• A patient-centered approach and willingness to collaborate with other healthcare providers.
• Respect for clinic procedures, shared resources, and patient confidentiality.
