From iconic stadiums and arenas, next-gen transportation hubs and sustainable healthcare and academic buildings, AECOM Hunt’s expertise, leadership and dedication are unparalleled.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to be based in Tampa, Florida.Join our team of dedicated professionals committed to excellence, safety, and innovation.Key ResponsibilitiesAssists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks.Organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training.Interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues.Assists with and monitors change orders and other construction documentation.Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract.Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed.May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:BA/BS in Engineering, Construction Management or relevant curriculum + 2 years of relevant experienceor demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.Preferred Qualifications:Experience from a larger GC is preferred.Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).OSHA 10, 30.The ability to read and interpret drawings.Experience with building envelope trades and other relevant subcontractors.Experience with Procore, Bluebeam or other relevant construction management software.Exposure to project scheduling.Additional InformationThis position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization now or in the future.Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.This position is not hybrid nor remote.At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
