Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow - Aurora Address: 2170 S Parker Rd Suite 100, Denver, CO 80231, USA Compensation: $79,000.00/year Job Description Join us as a Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow at Soar Autism Center! Soar is building a network of interdisciplinary clinics where children with autism and their families receive life-shaping services supporting them to thrive. We prioritize early intervention, comprehensive supportive services, and positive, developmentally-appropriate learning tailored to each child's and family's needs. Our focus is on an integrated autism care model for young children with autism. What You'll Do: Serve as an on-site Speech Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow, planning and implementing naturalistic speech therapy for children aged 1-5 years in a center-based setting. Receive hands-on experience under the mentorship of seasoned SLPs. Conduct multidisciplinary assessments and create treatment plans in coordination with other clinical specialties (BCBAs, OTs, psychologists). Develop communication interventions, including AAC devices, to support client communication. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team, including BCBAs, RBTs, occupational therapists, and mental health professionals, to plan and implement effective programs, including co-treatments. Monitor client progress, update treatment plans and goals, and communicate changes to team members and families. Partner with families to develop goals, build relationships, communicate progress, and provide coaching and support. Qualifications: Desire to contribute to advancing autism therapy standards. Master’s Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program. License to practice speech pathology, with a provisional Colorado license required by start date. Prior experience with AAC or interest in learning from clinical teams. Ability to connect and engage with young children in a playful manner.
