VP, Actuarial Specialist - US Locations

Client-facing Actuarial ConsultantClient-facing actuarial consultant closer to client-facing consulting than an in-house reserving cycle role—the deciding factor is bespoke client advice and relationship development.Senior P&C actuarial consulting role in the Claims Consulting Practice, listed in Chicago and available from any US Marsh office. You will deliver bespoke reserving and liability analyses, build advanced actuarial tools, advise clients, and lead project work in a three-days-per-week hybrid model.RequirementsStrongly preferred:5+ years of P&C actuarial experienceStrong reserving backgroundBachelor's degree in math, statistics, economics, or actuarial scienceStrong attention to detailAnalytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work in a teamProven ability to manage several projects simultaneouslyProficiency in Microsoft ExcelProficiency in Microsoft PowerPointNice to have:ACAS preferredFCAS preferredExperience with Python, R, VBA, or SQLAbility to take initiatives to improve analytics techniquesStatistics skills including GLM, Bayesian probability, and machine learningSkills & DomainTools Excel PowerPoint Domain Property & casualty reserving
