Position Overview

As a School Social Worker, you will collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to provide services that promote student well-being and foster positive educational outcomes.

Responsibilities Include:

Providing individual and group counseling services
Conducting social-developmental assessments and evaluations
Participating in IEP, 504, and multidisciplinary team meetings
Supporting students with behavioral, emotional, and social challenges
Assisting with crisis intervention and conflict resolution
Connecting students and families with community-based resources
Promoting positive school climate and student engagement

Qualifications

Active Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Social Worker endorsement
School-based experience preferred, but not required
Knowledge of special education processes and student support services
Strong communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills
Commitment to fostering student success and well-being
