Maintenance Technician

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This is a hands-on position requiring strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle a variety of maintenance issues throughout the facility. The ideal candidate is a well-rounded industrial maintenance professional who is comfortable diagnosing problems, making repairs, and working independently with minimal supervision. Maintenance Technician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial machinery and production equipment
• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs
• Maintain and repair motors, electrical systems, machinery, and related equipment
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing, heating, and facility systems
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, diagrams, schematics, and written work instructions
• Identify equipment problems and determine appropriate repairs
• Complete required maintenance documentation and paperwork
• Assist with facility and building maintenance as needed
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow company safety, quality, and maintenance procedures
• Assist or train less-experienced maintenance employees when needed
• Work cooperatively with production and other departments to keep equipment operating efficiently

Maintenance Technician Requirements:

• 1-3 years of electrical or mechanical trades training; or equivalent industrial maintenance experience
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
• Experience repairing and maintaining manufacturing or industrial equipment
• Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• General knowledge of multiple maintenance trades
• Ability to read manuals, diagrams, schematics, and equipment documentation
• Ability to troubleshoot a wide variety of equipment and facility problems
• Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs based on production needs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Heavier lifting may require mechanical assistance or a team lift
• Ability to stand and walk for the majority of the shift
• Ability to bend, reach, kneel, crouch, and work around manufacturing equipment
• Comfortable working around moving machinery, airborne particles, electrical systems, and vibration
• Manufacturing/shop environment with moderate to loud noise levels
