Respiratory Therapist

The position requires a therapist to work in various departments, including ICU, ER, Med-Surg, NICU, and others. The patient population includes both adult and neonatal patients. The unit has a total of 330 beds with a patient ratio of 30. Duties include managing equipment such as Draeger vents, Hamilton vents, V60s, and High Flow. Procedures performed on the unit include nebulizers, vents, CPAP/BIPAP, and chest physical therapy. The documentation system used is Allscripts Sunrise. Professional experience and advanced mechanical skills are preferred. Candidates with these skills will be prioritized for selection. The role emphasizes the importance of patient experience and effective communication. Successful candidates will exemplify a team-oriented approach in a dynamic environment.
