Compensation Salary Range: $22.56 - $29.85 / hour The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. If you are viewing this posting on a job site, please visit our company page and search for the opportunity to view the pay range: Responsibilities Position Overview: The Oncology Clinic Coordinator provides efficient, timely, and courteous registration and scheduling services to ensure a high level of customer service and smooth clinic operations. This position greets and assists patients, families, and visitors, directs clinic telephone calls, and provides and promotes the rapid and efficient scheduling of patient appointments, including infusion treatments, maintaining accurate provider schedules to support optimal patient flow. Additionally, the coordinator admits and registers patients for both hospital and outpatient accounts, verifies insurance eligibility and benefits, accurately maintains patient records, and accurately enters and dates patient information electronically as needed. Acting as an advocate and navigator, the coordinator assists patients in accessing services and ensures a seamless handoff to clinical staff, contributing to a positive and professional patient experience.
