Entry Level AI/Data Engineer Further is a data, cloud, and AI company whose focus is helping companies turn raw data into the right decisions. You’ll drive powerful insights for brands like Verizon, American Cancer Society, Behr Paint, and more right from the start. Located in the heart of Cleveland in the Flats East Bank (or Dallas at The Link Uptown, or Midtown Atlanta in Atlantic Station), you’ll gain cross‑functional experience and build a strong foundation to kickstart your career by turning data into information, information into insights, and insights into business decisions in a professional services environment. Your First Year Will Include Contributing to client projects and strategic solutions early. Growing your skillset with certifications and hands‑on mentorship. Helping shape our client success stories — your work will matter. While starting with support, you will progress to completing tasks and assignments independently with limited oversight by the end of the year. Contributing to a positive and fun work environment, building strong relationships across the company beyond just your team. Design and build scalable data pipelines by applying modern software engineering principles, including CI/CD workflows for automated deployment and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure environment consistency. Contribute to the development of production‑grade AI systems, focusing on modern patterns like Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG), LLM orchestration, and the fine‑tuning of retrieval systems to solve complex business challenges. What we’re looking for You don’t need to check every box — what matters most is your drive to grow. Required Completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree between Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related field. Beginner proficiency or coursework in Google Cloud Platform, machine learning, data science, data engineering, database systems, Python, SQL, or Statistics. AI Fluency & Curiosity: A baseline understanding of Generative AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or GitHub Copilot) with a demonstrated ability to apply prompts to accelerate delivery. We are looking for builders who leverage AI to speed up tasks, automate workflows, and proactively ship high‑quality work faster than traditional methods allow. Preferred Relevant internships or project experience. Additional Notes This is a hybrid position. Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday are required in‑office in Cleveland, OH or Atlanta, GA.
