Lead Clinical Laboratory Scientist

Job Overview Provides direction within an assigned section or subsection of the clinical laboratory. As needed, performs prompt, accurate, and reliable laboratory procedures on patient specimens, and evaluates, interprets, and reports test results to the appropriate patient‑care personnel. Location & Working Hours Olean General Hospital, US:NY:Olean Work type: Full‑time Shift: 1 Standard hours: 75.00 hours bi‑weekly Scheduled work hours: 7 a.m. – 3 p.m. Work arrangement: Onsite Weekend/Holiday requirement: Yes On‑call required: No Education and Credentials Bachelor’s degree verified by state DOE and meeting the requirements for full licensure of a clinical laboratory technologist. Full Clinical Laboratory Technologist License is required upon hire, or a laboratory technologist limited permit may be used provided full licensure is obtained within nine months of hire. Experience 4 years of clinical laboratory experience as a technologist are required. At least 2 of those years must have been spent within the past four years performing laboratory tests for which this position is responsible.
