PRN COTA Opportunities

Benchmark Therapy and Rehab, a large therapy practice in Ohio is looking for a full time and consistent PRN COTA for our Dayton Market and our Cincinnati Market.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients in their home.
• Implement treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of an occupational therapist.
• Help patients develop or regain daily living skills and functional abilities in their home setting.
• Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises.
• Note: License as an Occupational Therapy Assistant is required for this position.

SKILLS:

• Strong knowledge of human physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology.
• Experience in home care setting is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, their caregivers and healthcare team members.
• Ability to adapt to different patient needs and modify treatment plans accordingly based on their home environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that may arise during therapy sessions.
