SLP / Speech Language Pathologist
Embrace the Art of Communication in the Vibrant Desert City – Become Our Next Speech Language Pathologist
Imagine your next career opportunity being a platform for true purpose — literally. By becoming a Speech Language Pathologist in the lively city of Chandler, your responsibility is far greater than just managing communication and swallowing challenges. You will empower individuals, restore their confidence, and bridge connections that matter — through kids mastering their first sentences to seniors enjoying newfound independence.
This position offers a unique chance to assist a diverse client base across all ages in an environment that integrates outpatient therapy with opportunities for inpatient support. Whether your enthusiasm lies in child language development, aiding adults with neurogenic communication issues, or guiding elderly patients in cognitive-linguistic recovery, you will find satisfaction and options here.
Assess patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics using both standardized assessments and observational methods.
Create individualized treatment strategies that cater to both immediate objectives and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing needs.
Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions, concentrating on communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing skills.
Work closely with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and family members to craft cohesive care plans.
Provide educational resources for patients and families to facilitate progress outside of the clinical environment.
Assist with occasional inpatient speech therapy assessments and interventions to ensure seamless care throughout each treatment journey.
Document all patient-related information meticulously and in a timely manner, adhering to all state, federal, and organizational regulations.
Stay informed about advancements in the field through ongoing education and collaboration with peers.
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.
State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within the first 30 days of employment.
Expertise in evidence-based treatment methodologies applicable to all age groups, with a solid grasp of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
Exceptional communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and interdisciplinary health teams.
Capacity to customize therapy approaches for diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
Strong clinical judgment and adept problem-solving skills.
Comfortable utilizing electronic medical record systems and adhering to documentation protocols.
Attractive compensation based on experience.
Flexible work schedules to promote work-life balance along with varied caseloads.
Opportunities for specialization in pediatric, adult neuro rehab, or geriatric populations.
Paid time off (PTO) and holiday pay.
Options for medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
Support for continuing education and professional development.
A collaborative atmosphere focused on delivering quality care and fostering lifelong learning.
In this position, you won't just facilitate speech therapy; you'll engage in a community-driven mission aimed at restoring voices, enhancing communication, and cultivating joy through the most fundamental human acts: understanding and connection.
Join a team of clinicians who embrace each other like family, in a workspace that champions collaboration rather than competition. Every patient has their unique story; we trust you to be an essential part of how that narrative unfolds.
Life in Chandler is a harmonious blend of innovation and warmth, encapsulated in the vibrant culture of the area. Surrounded by the natural beauty of deserts and parks, this region offers a delightful balance of leisure, culture, and opportunity.
Families often gather in scenic parks for outdoor concerts and picnics, while adventure enthusiasts explore hiking trails, engage in water sports, or spend weekends indulging in local breweries and farmers' markets. Culinary aficionados enjoy a wide array of dining options, from food trucks serving authentic fare to restaurants recognized for their innovative cuisine.
The artistic spirit resonates in lively murals, echoes in local music venues, and comes alive during numerous community events that cater to diverse backgrounds. Beyond its lifestyle perks, professionals can benefit from no state income tax, a manageable cost of living, and a thriving healthcare sector that offers fruitful career opportunities.
Whether you're an emerging professional or a seasoned expert looking to expand your horizons, you'll discover ample room for both personal and professional growth in this environment.
We are on the lookout for a Speech Language Pathologist fueled by empathy as much as results. Someone who perceives a quiet child and imagines a bright future of expression, who understands the words of a stroke survivor and hears their determination to recover.
You could be a pediatric specialist wishing to add adult services to your repertoire — or a neuro-focused clinician eager to weave early intervention into your practice.
No matter your specialty, if you are prepared to serve with compassion and lead with expertise, we are excited to welcome you.
If you see speech as more than verbal sounds, and therapy as more than tasks — if you value establishing trust before setting goals, and laughter just as crucial as language — then this role might be the next meaningful chapter in your career.
Join us in a community that honors communication, connection, and the bravery required to start anew. Apply today to lend your voice to our team — and help others find theirs.
