As an Access Control Officer in a residential community, you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to residents, visitors, and vendors by carrying out access‑control procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document visitor, vendor, and delivery activity in accordance with residential community procedures. Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, escalating matters to appropriate personnel when needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of community grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity. Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and access‑related reports while maintaining professional communication with residents and site personnel. Minimum Requirements: Speak, read, and write fluent Spanish. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
