Radiology Tech - MRI Tech

MRI Technologist
On-call as needed, with weeknight call from 11:00pm7:00am and weekend call from 8:00pm8:00am.
Daily caseload of approximately 12 exams.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year MRI experience.
- ARRT (R) certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Active Florida or compact license at the time of submission.
- Experience with Siemens MRI operation.
- Knowledge of T1/T2, Spin Echo, Gradient Echo imaging, Diffusion (non-brain), and perfusion.
- Ability to prepare and administer contrast as well as start peripheral IVs.
- Experience with Cerner EMR is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations as directed, ensuring high-quality imaging.
- Prepare and assist patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Utilize PACS for image post-processing and management.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff for optimal patient care.
- Maintain MRI equipment, ensuring functionality and safety standards.
COVID-19 vaccination is required, with accepted medical or religious exemptions. Parking details will be provided.
