Are you ready to advance your scientific career with a top-tier global pharmaceutical leader? We are seeking a meticulous Chemist I to join our high-performing Quality Control team. Operating in a state-of-the-art professional laboratory environment, this onsite role focuses on performing qualitative and quantitative chemical and physical analyses on raw materials, packaging, and high-volume finished drug products.

responsibilities:

  • Perform routine physical and chemical testing on raw materials, packaging components, and finished drug products.
  • Execute established test methods and learn USP concepts under appropriate supervision.
  • Maintain strict adherence to current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Documentation Practices (GDP), and DEA regulations.
  • Compile analytical testing data accurately while ensuring total data integrity.
  • Identify basic technical or instrumentation issues and collaborate with senior staff to resolve them.
  • Safely utilize basic laboratory equipment and handle necessary chemical solutions using sound scientific principles.
 
qualifications:

Required:

  • BA/BS in Chemistry, OR a BS in a related scientific field with 1-2 years of pharmaceutical laboratory experience, OR an Associate degree in Chemistry with 2-4 years of experience.
  • Foundational laboratory skills and a basic understanding of analytical chemical testing processes.
  • Proven ability to learn, follow, and execute strict quality procedures and regulatory guidelines.
Preferred:

  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
