In this leadership role, you will oversee banquet events set-up and breakdown operations, stewarding support functions, banquet equipment inventory and storage, and teammate supervision while helping deliver exceptional experiences for our Members.
Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of related experience in a culinary or stewarding environment required
- One year of supervisory experience required
- Hotel, resort, country club, or high-volume hospitality experience preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Valid driver's license meeting Club insurability standards required

Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate banquet event set-up, breakdown, equipment pulls, storage, and room configurations according to BEO specifications
- Communicate daily with Chefs and department leaders regarding Club activities, event details, and operational needs
- Oversee inventory, organization, cleanliness, and security of banquet and stewarding equipment
- Safely transport and set up tables, chairs, staging, buffets, and other banquet equipment using proper procedures and equipment
- Supervise stewarding and banquet set-up teammates, including assigning duties, directing workflow, training, and maintaining departmental standards
- Ensure service areas, workstations, tools, and equipment are clean, organized, sanitary, and operating properly
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, inspections, inventory control, Paycom processes, and operational improvements
- Report maintenance issues and follow up as necessary
- Promote a positive, team-oriented culture while delivering exceptional Member service and upholding Desert Mountain standards
- Partner with Talent & Culture regarding coaching, teammate development, and disciplinary matters when necessary.
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Required to stand and walk constantly throughout shifts
- Required to stoop, kneel, reach and move banquet and kitchen equipment regularly
- Required to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds frequently
- Required to drive a motor vehicle
- Must be available to work, days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
