ProCare Therapy is seeking qualified and dedicated Special Education Teachers to support students in the Lancaster, California area for the upcoming school year. These full-time, school-based positions offer the opportunity to work within a collaborative educational environment while providing specialized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs. This is an excellent opportunity for passionate educators committed to helping students achieve academic and personal success.
Position Overview:
- Full-time, school-based position for the upcoming school year
- On-site role in the Lancaster, California area
- 40 hours per week
- School day begins at 8:00 AM and ends at 3:15 PM
- Collaborative and supportive educational environment
- Two openings available
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized instruction and support to students receiving special education services
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation
- Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and families
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet student needs
- Support students' academic, social, and behavioral development
Required Qualifications:
- Active California Special Education teaching credential
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field
- Previous school-based experience preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Ability to work effectively with students with diverse learning needs
Compensation & Benefits:
